Fully chrome front grills anybody?

Just about to order fully black front grills for my 3.0si Roadster in Stratus Grey - has a lighter shade front grill with chrome surround at the minute. A classic look but too understated for me. . .
Before I send off I see some fully chrome sets - anyone tried these or got photos - finding it hard to imagine whether it would look classy 8) or blingy? :? I have fully chrome front lights so wondered if chrome grills would work with them. Would certainly be a different look! Anyone gone this route - don't think I've ever seen them? Anyone able to post a photo before I send of for the all black?

I did it, wished I hadn't bothered. Left them on for a while to see whether the grew on me but they didn't.

I think I'm with you over this but my previous Zed had dark headlight backgrounds and dark grills, was silver grey and looked brilliant (IMO) - this Zed has Stratus Grey and chrome /silver headlights - I'm just trying to add a bit of a lift or statement. The Stratus Grey Zed looks great from the back (though I think I'm going to lose the Z4 badge) but I'm just not happy with the nondescript look of the front - I think Black grills will help but just want to see an example of the chrome before I send off my order.

no i haven't but I'm more interested in seeing some pictures of stratus with black grills. I've been undecided so I've never order a set.

Far too blingy, Alpina's come with chrome headlights and chrome grills.
