Darren Sloane - seeing your car has made me need black wheels ASAP!!!

does everyone agree that black rims are gonna look better?

Yes, black would look good.

Remember to wash the car with baby oil now, that is what I read somewhere a while back. Boots - here you come

looking very good . . if you have black wheels this car would look awesome i have seen a few white z4's with black wheels and they just look brill . . was at a bmw main dealers few weeks ago when a z4 drove in white with black wheels all the salesmen were looking at it looked truly awesome get black wheels Will finish it off trust me .

Looks really nice... what I have always wondered though is what is the colour designation of that car now... is it grey or white? If the police ran your plate and saw it said grey, would that mean that you are more likely to be stopped? Of course, if you do nothing wrong then I suspect they wouldn't run your plate anyway, but I always wondered...

It is a temporary cover so no need to update the DVLA.

Exactly my point... you're driving around, cops run your plate and see "grey"... surely they are gonna stop you and "investigate"... which of course you may or may not mind.

Looking good, had my S2000 wrapped in white a few years back, be careful when washing it, especially over time, but other than that great job can't wait to see the finished result.

looks damn good .......
only question I have ........ what does it feel like when you run your hande over it ....... is the same as paint on metal or does it have that plasticy feel ......
Only asking because your thread got me thinking about doing my other vehicle, its a bit of an outlay ...... and its a niggling thought.

continued thanks for all your comments guys, much appreciated

Speachless... :o

Black and white is simply stunning.

Only last touch I'd suggest is to smoke the rear light clusters a little, not too much though as it can look naff.

Stunning finish, very jealous.
