Full set Z4 Wheels + Tyres £200

I swapped the wheels on my 2006 E85/86 Z4, and now have the BMW originals to sell as need the garage space! Wheels are 17", in used condition, but good for age. Tyres will probably need replacing soon.

Was thinking £200, but might accept a very slightly lower offer if quick and easy! Available for pickup in Poole, Dorset.

Thanks mate! I think with some fresh £5 centre caps on they'd look really sharp – I just don't have the space for two sets of wheels!

Hi

I'm interested but would need them to be shipped. Are you able to pack and ship to Brighton?

How much would that cost?

Cheers
Daz

Have a look at Paisley Freight https://www.paisleyfreight.com/alloy-wheel-courier. Either the buyer or the seller can organise it & prices are pretty good tbh. The seller just needs to wrap them & put a postage label on each wheel & agree a collection date. I've used them both ways without issue. If you cover each side of the wheel with cardboard & wrap them with strong clingfilm or plastic such as a bin liner it'll be good enough  .

It might help to check how much cardboard they want to see though - another thread over very recent days made clear the wheels probably needed to be boxed. The seller had done exactly as you describe (cardboard on faces and loads of bubble wrap etc) but they were returned... might have been a one off but might help to check for sure

Yes, this was me..... pic attached.

Although in this case the wheels and tires are going to Germany so international requirements may be different.

They’ve come home for the weekend.... which my Mrs isn’t giving me any grief about to be fair (baring in mind I have a set of refurbished 107’s laid out on my kitchen floor  )

Hmmm, interesting. I bought a set of 103's with tyres that were packed just like that & they arrived without any problems. I then moved them on & packed them the same way. The buyer organised collection in that case, again no problem. Both were transported within the UK though. Alloys I bought without tyres were boxed but the seller had the boxes.

Hi there,
Yep, a cracking job of wrapping those wheels - hate to see your efforts at pass the parcel gifts :D and you might be right about the international element of course. I thought it help the op to just have that info though...
Out of interest how did the 107's look after the refurb? You might remember that I am looking for a set but think your literally perhaps stuck between 224s and those!!
Hope it works out with the others your trying to courier
Paul

I’m Conscious this is someone’s for sale thread, but the situation on the Manhart’s is that wheel boxes are on their way from Germany and when they get here they’ll be going back again full of these wrapped up beauties!

The 107’s are superb, but I’ll post a couple of pics on the ‘value of refurbished 107’s’ thread so you can see... so undecided :headbang:

Sounds like it's the need to send international then. Still, these wheels look in good order and would as you say be a good set for winter. 17inch would make a bit of difference in tyre price to.
Good luck with a sale super coupe

I have sent a pm to the OP but seems to be stuck in my outbox

Strange :|

It'll stay in your outbox until the OP reads it as I understand. No idea why it works like that :idunno: but it's not the same as emails.

Males some sort of sense!
