Let us know how they turn out, I've given up on interior LEDs for the moment as I couldn't get the different types to match in respect to colour.
 
Ok I will, I am having problems ordering though, I've passed it on To my friend in Germany to do for me. :)
 
Just arrived, and reading instruction it tells me to disconnect the battery before fitting. bit worried about doing this reading the problems with windows etc; has anyone swopped to led's without doing this?
 
i wouldn't bother disconnecting the battery tbh, remember if it doesn't light up first time as well spin the bulb around as it's probably backwards.
 
ok scooba _steve, I will take some pics of the led's if you want. I will be posting before and after picks when I do the job.
 
I installed some in my e60 a while back..looking at them now they are not as bright..I got mine from eBay...

Wonder if anyone does any quality bulbs
 
Ashamed to say i havent fitted mine yet, had a look but the footwell was a faff as i couldnt see the buld to change it so desided to leave it till i get more time.

I've not done my Z4 ones yet either, but when I've done it on other cars I've used my phone to help. Go in to the camera, set it to use the front facing one and use that as sort of mirror.

Footwell bulbs are easy. The plastic cover (at least the passenger side one) is only held on with 2 screws under the glovebox.
