Full set of APEX ARC-8s [SOLD & DELIVERED]

Having got rid of my ///MC this week, I have a full set of immaculate 18" APEX ARC-8 wheels (no kerbing, scratches or marks) with brand new (done about 100miles since purchase) Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 tyres.

APEX wheels are flow-formed. Flow-forming combines casting and forging technologies to produce a strong and lightweight wheel with about 80-90% of the weight savings of a fully forged wheel. Flow-forming is the name used for the process that forms the final barrel shape. The wheels come out of the original mold with a narrow and extremely thick bell like barrel. A machine with two high pressure rollers compress and stretch the metal into its final shape. This machine/step is the same that fully forged wheels use to form their barrel. This gives the wheel strength where it really matters, and weight savings in the area that impacts rotational mass the most.

Sizes are:
18/8.5 ET38 235/40
18/9.5 ET22 265/35

Pictures, including what they looked like on the car are attached.

Collection from Prees in Shropshire (between Shrewsbury and Whitchurrch).

Looking for £1400, which is less than half what they cost me last year.

Man, they look lovely, but I'm guessing they won't fit anything but an ///M?
It's the rear ET that could be a problem - on an ///M they are only 1/2" further out than OEM but on a non-M they would be 1.3" further out. Fronts would not be a problem on either.

Anyone interested or want to make me an offer?

I would love them, I actually have ARC-8s on my list. Just the worst timing, I am having my kitchen/dining room done over this next 2 weeks and dropped a bucket load of cash on that. So if they are around in a few months then we can deal but I somehow doubt they will hang around as they are a top rated wheel in top condition.

Gutted that these won't fit my 3.0, as I'm looking for a set. If you don't mind me asking where did you purchase them from originally? Seen a few websites with them on but struggling to find a UK supplier.

Great rims these, and a very fair price considering the tyres. I actually bought mine from Indigo-GT in wales who beat CA's price quite easily. I'm sure they do an offset for non-m's for those interested http://www.apexraceparts.com/apex-products/ARC-8-Wheels/#.Vv6Ay2grKHs

You would probably have more interest selling these on the m3cutters forum as obviously many M3s run them.

I'll keep them in my garage for now and hope that someone wants to buy them in the coming weeks. They really are very nice and very much lighter than standard rims.

Not tempted to try on your 89 David ? Rears on the max but should fit
That's not a bad idea Andy!

Fronts would be perfect with 10-12mm spacers and rears would stick out 23mm more than the 326s which might work. :)

Maybe try it next week - can't do it this weekend as the car is at my local detailer today / tomorrow and I'm hoping to make the Turnpike meet on Sunday. By then the body will be sealed & a ceramic coating applied (Gtechniq Crystal Serum followed by Gtechniq EXO), windscreen coated with a water repellent (Gtechniq G1 after a clean with G6 and a polish with G4), calipers painted blue, wheels sealed and ceramic coated, Leather treated / protected, Vinyl surfaces coated / UV protected. No surprise that it'll take a full day and a half to get that lot done!

Nothing like going the whole hog on a new car!

Used my 313Ms with non-runflats on the sDrive 35i, rather than these, so still available and perfect for ///MR or ///MC.

A few photos taken today at Greg's request.
