Full Ice Blue Wrap!

After falling out of love a little with my 3.0i I figured it was time to either sell up for probably an M240i or freshen it up.... so I had it wrapped in Oracal Ice Blue & DIY refurbed the 224's in gloss black. It desperately needs a front splitter and maybe something on the rear but now it looks kind of ridiculous it feels like I've got licence to go a bit over the top with it.....chassis mount rear wing?

The guys at https://www.calsy-ssd.co.uk/ did an amazing job on the wrap. Up close it's literally perfect. Can't recommend them enough.

Wow, what a difference

It looks like the wrap guys have done an incredible job even tying in the rear light trim pieces and parking sensors.

I hope you’ve fallen back in love with your Zed :D

I like that a lot ! Looks great :D It just needs de-tangoing and a subtle front splitter to finish it off

Yes, would look even better de-tango'd

+ an M or aero front bumper, or as per the OP a really decent black splitter

Looks great though, I like it

That looks stunning OP.

The cost may well be a secret if the OP hasn't told his OH!

From the photos looks like they’ve done a great job

An M front bumper and that would look top notch. I agree it needs something changed or added up front to make it a little less smooth.

Like the pre face’ rear though, the line from bottom corner to bottom corner that you’d loose if you went M or post facelift looks good in this colour.

Out of interest I wonder what a black underside of that line would look like in black... not seen that done and might bring it out a bit. On the other hand it might look shocking

Thanks for all the compliments!! Sorry for leaving everyone in suspense in regards to the cost. It was the best part of £2k. Certain colours are cheaper and if I wanted the guys who did it to take shortcuts etc they can do it cheaper, but I just got them to make it perfect. The main reason I got it done was because I got the front bumper hit in a car park, amazingly the guy left his details!! So rather than use the money to put it back to stock I just put some more in (well loads more  ) and went for the wrap.

It was super tempting to get hold of an M bumper etc but it felt a bit silly spending even more to be honest. I think a splitter up front will do the job for now. Seen the 'Maxton Design' ones that don't look too bad, but I was thinking of going with something a bit less subtle with support rods etc.

If I ever decide to turn the car into a track car at least i've got half the gulf livery now!

Do you mean something like this? I don't hate it!

If you want a cheap front spoiler option, I fitted this from a Skoda Fabia. It’s bendy so shapes we’ll to the bumper (mines and 03 as well) and just needs a bit of trimming as it’s a bit too long. Fits with self tappers.

Not the best photo, but here’s a shot of mine
