Fuel grade for 2006 Z4 3.0si

No.

But all my other cars get the supermarket cheap stuff, the Z4 gets the good stuff (not from the supermarket either) :D

There have been instances reported on this forum where supermarket fuel has adversely affected running of car so I would say perhaps one supermarket fill to a good brand. Same with octane, I mostly fill with E5 but for a treat give her E10

Treat or threat? E10 has more Ethanol and will wreck it quicker :D

Sorry should have put that the other way round but dont think E10 will wreck our engines. I just alternate between fill ups.

E10 is just about the only thing we have in the States and my 3.0i has 100k on it with no issues.

Do the classic cars have to run on a supplement? My Golf cannot run on E10 and would be ruined very quickly

I 'think' that is due to seals being broken down, mainly in carburettors from what I recall.
Must admit, since I sold the Capris I haven't taken much notice.

Mine is fuel injection but still applies to the fuel hoses and seals
