Fuel gauge problem

Hi,

After filling up my car today the fuel gauge is only indicating just over 1/4 full. It was working ok on the way down. Is this likely to be a calibration problem that I can reset or some sort of problem with the fuel level sensor? Anyone else had the fault? Easy to fix?

Mine did exactly the same today, I had let the tank get very low before filling.

The gauge gradually crept back up to full after about 10 miles driving?
