i had this problem before and i changed the whole fuel galon, and know it's happening again but this time it's different when i put some gas the gauge goes up until it reaches the 1/2 and then it stops, then it moves very very slow even the range sometimes stops and in few hours it moves a little bit yesterday i filled it up and you know how long it took to reach the full about 5 hours.
any body got this problem before ?!
 
Had that problem on my previous Zed which was a 2003 and I know others also reported the same problem. It always sorted its self out after a few hours so I never complained to the dealer about it. I have not had that problem on my 2006... :)
 
I had that problem over the weekend with a rented Fiat Croma - I filled it up, but it wouldn't show on the indicator. The guy at the rental place didn't believe me, and wanted to charge me for a full tank! I told him I'd happily come with him to the pump and try to fill it again... he eventually believed me.
 
That happened to me when I returned from a 30 day vacation. The gas gauge hardly moved at all...took till the next day (i didn't drive much that day) to get to the full point. Now it's nice an quick like it should be (IMO). I've only had this happen the one time.
Mine is an 03 3.0.....
 
so what's the solution what can i do ?!!

just leave it like that or is there any thing i can do ?!!
 
kal: did you DIY or was it under warranty? How long after you switched did this start happening again? Seems the few here who have had this issue just sort of let it go :idunno:
If it's still under warranty I'd take it back.

I've had this happen a few times before. I just let it go like WLH and it eventually worked itself out. It hasn't happened in quite a few months and since it always goes back to normal I wouldn't worry about it. Come to think of it, it usually occured during season changes, usually in the Spring. I would suggest leaving it alone unless it constatntly occurs in which case I'd have the dealer have a look at it.
