Fuel crisis

Is there another one? Had to go to 5 petrol stations before I found one with unleaded. No diesel anywhere but didn’t need that.

Just in the south again or everywhere?

I didn't realise it was a problem until today.

I went to the Shell garage in Blackwater just over the border in Hampshire to use the jetwash and wondered why the price display was blank. Walking to the kiosk to pay for the jetwash I noticed every single pump was turned off - no wonder the guy on the counter looked bored!

He did have a couple of customers in the shop - which surprised me as their is a Tesco Local next-door. :o

That makes sense - self-opinionated numpties with nothing better to do. :headbang:

And it seems driving into them isn't a good idea - where are the angry dads in Zafiras when you need them?

seems to be in the south mostly.. no issues around here.. except the fookin prices of course, with the current price of brent crude and the duty cut we are being overcharged 25p per litre on diesel

Same in Folkestone. 3rd garage before found unleaded, que'd 30 mins to get to pump.

Oh, what happened to the 5p cut in duty ? Paid £1.66 :x

Oh and a litre of Sunflower oil £ 4.40

Cheaper to fry my egg's in petrol
Apart from it will burn your house down, and the cost of insurance is rising too! :D

There is no reasoning with these climate idiots. Block a road, stop fuel getting out from refineries, cause traffic jams and more queueing which results in more fumes and pollution. Bus lanes have the same effect. Bonkers. :headbang:

I used nearly two-thirds of a tank today so on the way home I went to my local Tesco to fill up.

Half the pumps were out of action but I was so pleased to get some Momentum I almost didn't wince at paying £1.699 a litre.

They didn't have any diesel though - still that should help the local air quality.

Thanks for making me £135 lighter this evening Paul after tax n a full fill.

Plenty of petrol locally here, seems as Mr Tidy similarly found it’s diesel that’s very scarce
