Fuel consumption.

With all the modifications so far to the Z I am getting 27.2MPG out of her. Might name the Z..... (The Ex-wife), she was a big money drain also.
Next planned mods are a full decat along with a Maf delete and also a lambda delete with an ecu remap. I am going to split the single pipe exhaust where it joins (2 into 1) and dual 2.5-inch pipe her down the middle minus the cats. Stainless pipes connected to stainless steel resonators out of both sides of the rear bumper. That will possibly further reduce the MPG I have already. All in the name of fun is all that matters to me :D

good stuff. i only bothered working out the mpg in my z4 once - it was 13mpg. mind you i was doing a trackday at spa at the time.

Average 21mpg in my Coupe and 24mpg in the roadster but they only get used at weekends mainly in 2nd and 3rd gear lol :D get high 30's on a run if im careful

For some reason the MPG on mine has deteriorated markedly since I took the big foam out of the sound generator :?

Just had a long weekend away in my 2.5 and the OBC showed I avg 37mpg - not bad however when I refuelled and did the calculations its was actually 35mpg - still not bad but the OBC is not accurate to be fair.

Good to see someone who isn't too bothered about their fuel consumption!

Both my 3.0Sis averaged low 30s during the time I had them and the OBC on my M is showing 27.1mpg. I wish there were a few less speed cameras where I live. :(

Could be a long term average in the obc, did you reset it before your trip?

I predict a massive MOT failure if you do all that work :D

That why it is handy having my stepdaughter's fella do the m.o.t on it.
Is it coming to Norfolk tomorrow?
That'll test the consumption on a long run!

It certainly is coming over to Norfolk tomorrow. I Finish DJ'ing tonight at 4am in a nightclub up in Walsall so will grab a few hours then head down to you around 9am to 9.30am. Hopefully there aren't many cameras or speed traps along the way. I reckon I should be at yours by 12 at the latest.

I doubt the fuel consumption will improve however I can predict it will go down as I have a lead foot
