Fuel consumption

For those that might be thinking of getting a 35i and want to know what fuel consumption is like on a run ? Well, I've just had a long weekend in St Ives and done my longest round trip up to press in my stage 1 mapped 35i and she returned 37.6mpg and that's with the cruise control set between 70 and 74 mph nearly the whole way.

I was pleasantly surprised by mine too.

Obviously only had it a few Weeks but the almost 500 mile trip home with cruise on at speeds similar to yours and managed 41.6

Out trip to the Highlands last week where it was driven more like it should and it was still 26.8 over 900 miles which I was even more impressed with given how it was driven

but sometimes these cars are also driven long distances on boring motorways so it's good to know they are good on fuel and not always showing 21 mpg like mine when just knocking around locally cos I drive it like a loon

I was expecting my run last week to show consumption starting with a 1 so was very pleasantly surprised

Definitely wasn’t a consideration when buying it as I expected the consumption to be sh!t

Oh and I like and eat plenty of cakes f**k the calories

Mine rarely saw more than 20mpg. Typically used to be around 12
