Fuel consumption for 2.0 model

Keeping a zed on the road can be expensive but a good independent specialist garage makes it affordable - still have important service stamps in book and lots of advice and knowledge. £200 instead of 400 for major service for example. Tyres are affordable if you go the Falcon route - see posted info.
I have found running the zed surprisingly affordable so far - I chose a 2.0i sport to keep costs (and temptation) down. Still brilliant fun though and worth all outlay. :thumbsup: :driving:

I would second this.
On short runs its very easy to burn alot of juice, rev the engine (have fun). Altho its only 150bhp its VERY responsive in the mid range and a pleasure to drive hard (as u have to). :driving:

I rarely do motorway driving but as said before, on a motorway doing 70(ish) in 6th i have had 36-40+ mpg
 
Like the above i am getting 31 town and managed 42 after a reset before driving down to donington at a sustained speed of 80
 
cool, thanks for the input. now I'm even more psyched to get one. although it will have to be 2.0i to lower the costs.

do you have any suggestions on what to check when inspecting one?
 
+1 on the rear springs. It's dead easy to change and as iv recently posted, u can get a pair for £65.
You could always use springs as leverage in haggling.

Is it Bluetooth ready (a handy option).

Are the tires new (if its on RunFlats there extremely pricey to replace) room for haggling there.

Other than that its your call on colour and model :-)
