still there but not half as bad

I believe It's all down to the insurance companies policies that do not favor those that do the right thing. Unfortunately accidents do happen. But if you do something like this to someone's car by accident and do the right thing by reporting it. You are forever marked by the insurers. And will be punished by them for a very long time. Which creates the willingness to not do the right thing.

this is why i point blank refuse to park my car on the street.

someone done exactly the same damage to my dads car when he was helping me move in to my house. luckily his work horse is a banger.

some people are complete tossers. hope it comes out fully, looks like you've done a good job so far.

Looks like white van man strikes again, hope its sorted painlessly

meaning what ? :D
i drive 20k a year in mine & am always considerate & courteous .
if its hopeless, hapless drivers you want then the folks who hit the motorways at weekends & drift along in the middle lane at 60mph are THE worse drivers in the uk

Nova / i would be breathing fire with rage . hope you can fettle it

Karma will get them...sorry to see this happen to your Z mate. Hopefully as an ex Paza car owner too this won't happen to me also!

That last pic your car looks like a mirror, nice polishing!

PS - I like your watch :)

Making progress there Nova - Nice wheels - I dread this happening to my Zed so you have all my sympathies - seems like you've got the skills to sort though - keep at it - good work.

Nova that's a real cr*pper feel for you, I've recently had an identical looking scuff done by a brilliant local smart repairer, along with 5 or 6 other little scratches and door-dinks and they are all completely undetectable so it will fix as good as... and all will be well 8)

PS - Stuart, my family motor (along with others) was damaged by some nutter puncturing tyres on a weekly basis at a regular car park, it stopped after some of us fitted these cheapo in-car cams. It's HD (but I've found mine records best in 640x480) and can be left on movement detection, has night vis and cost under £20! The files just keep writing over and if left on constant will hold 24 hrs+ with a 32 SD card. There's loads on fleabay and ideal for so little money. You will need a live lighter socket or wire it in, if not the battery lasts a couple of hours tops.

I've seen these, was thinking of something along these lines, but with multi cameras, perimeter coverage etc. Kind of a car based CCTV setup. Cameras are so small now it must be doable...

I saw somebody damage a car like this - They looked about sheepishly and I kept my face in my bag of chips! They didn't leave a note either but I took a note of their number and passed it onto the cops.

Got a phonecall from the owner of the damaged car
