Sorry if this is not in correct category.

Has anyone heard of or used this product?

http://ftcdirect.com

Seems like a gimmick/ placebo but thought I'd ask.
Reasonable price if it does have any effect.

I'm gonna vote BS on this. The webpage reminds very much of those miracle money maker ebook pages where there's some special offer blah blah blah.

agree with iamorion, cheap looking website and no image of what they are trying to sell you  - or how to get it in your fuel tank

Exactly! Appalling website. Almost every page is a single image with a very simple image map (An image map basically dictates the "hot spots" of the image that are clickable and go to another url)

Not to mention it was created less than a year ago "Creation Date: 2016-10-28T14:25:52Z". It also references hamiltondrc.com which was only created in December '16. "Creation Date: 2016-12-08T17:37:38Z"

Then there's hamiltondirect.co.uk which at least was registered in 2012 "Registered on: 10-Oct-2012"

ALL of these belong to the same person, a UK individual named "Ben Newton".

Bottom line - don't waste your money! It's BS 100%

That's what I was thinking.
Saw it in Classic Cars but I suppose anyone can advertise where they like.
Cheers.

Just buy a fuel petrol system cleaner in Halfords for a tenner. Job's a good'un

A quick check with academic registers and other searches shows that nobody has any record of, or published any work by the so-called inventor of FTC fuel additives Dr Victor Cunningham PhD, B.Sc, DLC. Therefore we can safely assume he doesn't exist (well the guy in the photo obviously exists but he looks like a paedo!), we are not the first auto forum to dig in to this product and several others have discovered that it's bolx as well :)

Link to 'about FTC' page http://ftcdirect.com/how.html

Reality check: If it worked every car maker in the world would have snapped it up and Dr Cunningham and Ben whats'his'name could have retired to a playboy lifstyle, but as it is Ben thingy is hawking useless pellets of wizard's Owl droppings from a cheesy little website, and paedo face, well he's just some guy in a mug-shot :P
