It’s with some reluctance that I’ve decided to part with my Z4. I have a nine month old and with my wife’s imminent return to work, I’m getting something with four doors and four seats to cover impending childminder drop offs.

The details are:
2006 (06) Z4M Roadster
42,000 miles
Interlagos blue with black/blue seats and carbon leather trim
I’m the third owner, owned since October 2010
MoT to May 2015, Tax to end of December 2014.

This a well specified M. Options were:
  • Extended Nappa Leather (roll hoops, centre console, door cards, A pillars & sun visors)
  • Professional Navigation
  • Logic 7/Carver Professional HiFi
  • Bluetooth with BMW Assist
  • Heated seats with electric adjustment
  • Wind deflector
  • Cruise control
  • Auto dimming mirrors
  • Parking sensors
  • Folding mirrors
  • Extended storage including cupholders
(or I could say it has pretty much everything except TV, Isofix, CD changer, voice or hardtop though I've probably missed something)

Modifications by me or previous owners are:
  • Centres of the seats and door cards retrimmed in blue nappa leather
  • Intravee with iPod interface, including customised iPhone 4 snap-in (ordinary iPod can still be plugged in, phone not included)
  • Gaptech RCH+ roof module
  • BMW Sport Antenna (stubby)
  • Goodridge brake and clutch hoses, including CDV delete
The service history is:
1,243 – Running in service BMW Barons Hindhead
13,104 – Oil service BMW Barons Hindhead
25,414 – Inspection 1 – BMW Stratstone Maidenhead
34,451 – Inspection 2 – ETA Motorsport
41,766 – Oil service – MJF Engineering
I went straight to Inspection 2 after the 1 for more thorough fettle including checking the valve clearances. The recent service was last month.

I did buy a long Warranty Wise policy but never needed to claim anything on it. Aside from routine servicing and tyres, I have only had to buy a new battery, bits to adjust the driver’s headlight, a new third brake light and gas struts for the boot.

It has always been garaged by me. It’s in generally good condition all round.

Price is £12,995

I live in Epsom, Surrey.

The car isn’t officially on sale until the last weekend of August, giving me some time to fully prepare it for sale. I am still using the car regularly and its replacement won’t be here until into September, but I’m willing to let it go whenever a buyer wants it. I now have the V5C and tax disc back from the personalised number transfer and so the original 06 plates can be refitted and the car is ready to go.

Please PM if you are interested.

Such a super spec, extended leather is quite rare. Keen price, I'm sure it won't be around for long. Good luck.

Despite a natural aversion to blue seats, strangely I do like that interior. GLWTS. She looks a peach.

Looks lovely, and as said a very good price for the spec. Full extended leather is very rare. I thought with an individual interior you didn't get the M on the headrests, but obviously I was wrong.

Retrimmed, not original. I know the first two years of that car.

Thanks for the messages. I did speak to the first owner before buying but never realised the headrests were retrimmed as well.

PVR didn't mean that, he wad pointing out to Bing that the interior had been re trimmed. If the hearts have the logo they will be original.

think you've put this up too cheap for the milage and spec..... genuinely. take a look on PH and see what comes in at this price.

I went to view this car the other day and James was kind enough to take me out in it. I can confirm it is as described with lots of paperwork and seems a good buy. No doubt someone will snap it up

Why no likey ? :(

Just giving this a bump now that I'm properly ready to sell the car. I put an advert on Pistonheads a couple of days ago. Robbie_t123 did view but bought a different forum member's car.

In the meantime, I've given the car a machine polish so that all the swirls and noticeable light scratches have gone. I wish I had done that earlier because the paintwork looks great now. It always had a decent gloss but has a finer reflection under sunlight or artifical light. It did get rained on yesterday but I'll try to get some more pictures up.
