FS: Z4M BMC Panel Filter and Custom Carbon Airbox Lid

Hi,

Just installed my Gruppe M intake, so I'm selling my BMW panel filter (done 2000 miles and as you can see look like new, bought October 13. Also selling my custom carbon airbox lid, complete with internal MAF screen. The combination of the two give a little more intake growl.

Editied - Now looking for £55 delivered for both. Can arrange a courier if required.

Sorry, doubt it will fit the 2.5.

Ok, I'll have a look at the engine bay tomorrow and compare with your pics to give me an idea. Those bmc filters have a good review for the z4.

Really hard to define, maybe 5-10%, one friend noticed it instantly, the other didn't.

Forgot I still had this, moving house next weekend, so one less thing to lug to the new house. £55 delivered to get rid. Same price as new BMC panel filter, so nothing lost

Out of interest, is the internal MAF screen the metal modified version that exdos developed, and is the carbon fibre sealed to the air box, by which I mean not just screwed on ?

No, it was a guy called pilchardthecat. Exdos did the plug in the box mod. See here

Lets see how this weekend goes, if I get any interest, if not then yeah sure

However, I can't guarantee the noise is coming from lid, it could be the filter, not tested each independently.

Yep - I already have the filter, so more interested in any additional noise (bonus) and the airflow improvements.

I guess it may be handy to have a spare BMC filter whilst one is being cleaned...

It just says " complete with internal MAF screen". I suspect this is just the standard one, the modified one is in my Gruppe M. I'll check tonight though.
