Mine was similar - manufacturered April 08 then not registered until Dec 31st 2008. Not sure why this was - I wasn't complaining at the time as the discount (they offered me / I brilliantly negotiated) was massive (paid £24k with 10 miles on the clock). Can only think the e89 was just being launched and they wanted to clear out the 85/86's
 
My car was built in Oct 06 but not registered till Mar 07.

This is odd because it was a BMW Thorne car, owned by BMW for the first 3 months of its life as a HQ / press car.

Similar with me, I bout mine as the E89 was launched so the coupe was massively discounted. Mine was the last in the UK :)
 
OP, sorry to see you are selling your Z4 - it really is a lovely example (I bought your winter tyres for my E46 last November). That 2-tone interior is especially wonderful. :thumbsup:

I hope you aren't going to do anything too radical, like buying Audi's or something!

Baby due in May so could really do with more seats. Not really sure what to get.
 
Congratulations!

I hope you find something you like - E9* 330i or 335i might be practical enough while still offering some entertainment!
