Hey guys, I have just put the coupe up for sale.

Here is a link
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/bmw/z4-coupe/bmw-z4-si-sport-coupe------------2006/2822514

If there is anything on there that anyone feels I should add or change let me know :)

Also what do you guys think of the price?

Thanks!!

Nice car & decent advert , i suspect the blue trim could be your worst enemy as it will limit your buyer base .
Personally i would remove the wrap & also do the MOT .
Pricewise ? I think you are over the bar & a sub £10k ask should be the start
Best of luck , what is the replacement ?

Thanks for the reply guys.

I swear the blue trim doesn't look that bright in real life. When I uploaded the pics I was surprised by them.

I know what you're saying about the roof wrap, not to everyone's taste, I will leave it for a bit and see the response, if I get a serious buyer and they don't want the wrap, then I will remove it.

I will Mot and tax the car prior to sale, that should help sell it.

Regards to the price, again I will see what the response is and rethink.

I am looking at getting a 911 996 C4S. I thought about getting a Z4MC for a while, but the C4S appealed to me more tbh.

Price wise I think this is about spot on. Its a better than average example with just below average miles and therefore warrants the good side of £10k in my opinion

the bi colour trim should be a good selling point, there are not as many around and the therefor more exclusive

Thanks guys. Yeah to be honest I priced this accordingly due to the extras, mileage and condition. So I think I will stick to my guns and get as close to 10k as possible.

I think your ad is about right, I would leave the car as is - lots of people like the roof wrap idea and may even help sell it

The price looks right considering miles and condition

Good luck - should sell ok

I've been looking for a 3.0si coupe for a few weeks now. I have looked at this twice now but the only thing that has put me off is the lack of mot and service but mainly the interior.

I reckon if you got it MOT & serviced someone would buy it but for me it's just the interior colour :(

I was hoping i would be proven wrong on the price & the trim but i don't think so
Mk1 TT's have a similar blue leather trim & it has been discussed many times on the TT forum , it limits buyers & hits the residuals :?
I agree a 2 tone interior is desirable but the blue is such a love - hate colour it can go against the sale .

The car is a 06 with not high but not low miles , great paint colour & a decent spec but we've seen very similar 07 & 08 model's struggle to gain interest over £10k .
It all depends how long you want to sit on the car :? if you want it gone sooner rather than later then a sub £10k should see some action .
£10500 for a 06 car around 60k is dealer money imo
Needs to be closer to £9k unless i'm missing something

Erm you do mean Tax rather than lack of service right?

I am having the car mot'd this week, so that won't be a problem. Tax will be put on there aswell if that will help a sale.

The interior is what attracted me to the car tbh. And I'm sure there is someone out there who feels the same about it. But it looks a lot better in the flesh than it does in pictures.

As for the price, well, I think it's not a bad figure, I priced it according to what's out there for sale at the moment and what they are going for. But the price is negotiable.
