Hey guys,
Like many Ive got the upgrade bug and as such I have my 2003 z4 3.0 for sale.
Ive put a classified ad on our old friend ebay ( I use the term 'friend' very loosely!) so most of the info is on there.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140476293854&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

The spec includes 18" ellipsoid alloys, air con, electric heated leather memory seats, cd multi-changer, de-badged, parking sensors, front foglights,
head lamp washers.....
It has done approx. 57000 miles, includes full service history and wont need servicing for another 12550.
Two of the alloys need a bit of cosmetic attention but apart from that its in great condition.
The MOT has just been done and is taxed until March 2011.

I'm asking for £8995 ono.

The picture on ebay is just for reference. I'll put some more up as soon as it stops raining!

Any questions, please feel free to ask.

Calm down guys. Ive used this forum since I bought my car, and been given some great advice from some friendly and helpful people.
Admittedly, Ive not been on here for months and cant remember my log on details, and with having a change of email cant retrieve them.
Easiest thing to do? ....register again, it only takes 30 seconds.
Explanation over, take it or leave it,
Im sure the people who are worth dealing with, are not the ones who leave unnecessary and sarcastic comments, just like every other forum on the internet.

I think the guys are just saying its all about a bit of 'give and take' - Either by helping others via questions posed, or via small contributions to the webmaster for the running of the site

As your first post is a sale, hence the remarks were made - Explanation over, take it or leave it - good luck with the sale

Rather expensive in my opinion considering the time of year and state of the used car market in general. I have the same car and reckon it is only worth about £7999 unfortunately. However, what an £8K's worth it is and what else could one purchase that would be more fun and sound as nice!!!!

Spot on - a 2003 '03 70k miles on Parkers gets £7,585 private and only £8,500 from a main agent, so some £2k over priced

Be lucky at this time of year so get over book

I think this is where parkers muddles the waters somewhat - as if you use the parkers guide iphone app its allows you to select the extras such as alloy type, stereo, sat nav, auto etc

doing a check on this particular car, its setup and mileage, parkers iphone app gives

independent £9,800
private good £9,160
private poor £6,755
part Exchange £8,335

if you state is as having 40k on the clock the private good price is £10,550 and 30k on the clock as £11,010

But i guess it all depends on how much someones wants the car and who much they are willing to pay

Interesting discrepency between 2 apps from the same co

Maybe it just thinks iphone users are guillable and hikes the price :poke:

Thanks for the info guys, I didnt realise there was a parkers iphone app, ill have to check to see if its available for android.
As you say ranski, price can depend on how much someone wants a car.
I know I spent plenty of time looking for this one and probably paid a little more than I should have for it, but it was exactly what I was after.
The price is negotiable so I'll see what happens.

That would be correct. I live on the outskirts of Leeds and work in the centre. :D

Price now revised to £8695 ono.
At this rate I'll be trading it in for a sleigh! :D

I think you'll be lucky to get anywhere near your asking price.

My 04 with a far better spec only sold for £8250.
