Mr whippy

I am in Firebobby`s Fred gang I for one love my whippy its such a versatile E85 addition the benefits of which are as follows:

Great for poking someone with it!

Great for checking road speed if speedo malfunctions I calibrated my whippy, when it bends dynamically at 76 degrees I`m doing 70mph and so on!

When I get out of my car I always walk to the nearside and ping the end with my index finger, makes a lovely springy Zebedee type springy noise!

In my local Waitrose car park I have caught on more than 7 occasions, people admiring my whippy`s dynamic looks!

I lovingly and carefully polish my whippy every weekend using Poorboys World Nattys Carnauba Liquid Blue Wax - Easy ON/OFF Formula, comes with full instructions and easy to use 16 oz cans!

I could go on and on about the features and benefits of a whippy, all I can say about the stubby is it looks like a stubby! there is no more to be said on this matter and to all stubby lovers you have to accept this as closure on the whippy v stubby debate!

Very funny but very true Jonny :) , there are quite a few whippy fanciers on the forum, more so than stumpy owners.
We don't have to brag about the size of our aerials though, so most fanciers just keep quite about the superiority of the whippy and let soldiers like me, you and others fight the good fight. :whip: :whip:
We have to let the stumpy crew know that their abomination of an aerial is just that...an abomination and looks silly on the splendid curves of the Z  :whip: :whip:

So, whodathunkit; 5 pages of opinion, indifference and derision. All for the sake of my poor, unloved and most certainly unwanted whippy.
I think this issue now calls for a poll - stubby or whippy?
Fred you make a very bold claim that there are more whippy-lovers than stubby-afficionados, so let's put it to the vote. Over to you.....

As the OP Chris, it's down to you to set a poll, Marlon's the poll king on the forum, so he may help set it up for you.
As for saying your whippy is unloved and unwanted, well what can I say ??
D4dawg can't vote though as he's a grommet owner That's almost a hermaphrodite situation :poke:

Tbh I think I might go the grommet route too. I never use the car's radio. I stream bassdrive.com or 6music via my phone and the bluetooth connection so I have absolutely no need for a stubby or whippy tbh.
What are the grommet options? Look nice?
