Although I am more than happy to accept one!!

I was going to make an offer on the HT, so if you've had an offer of full price, accept it :)

You did and you have first refusal. However as I said I want to sell the HT first in case these become a bargaining point.
Reading back through my previouis mails there have been some ambiguity.
I try and be fair, reasonable and provide 'decency' on all my pricing

The invoice is still attached to the side, dated may 2010 the price was £36.73
You can see the condition is mint not used like I thought I had!!
I was thinking £25 delivered?
Now the difficult part. Quite a few regiustered a interest and I recall that Mowflo was the first with Bs0u0118 as the second in line if not interested.
If either those members dont want them I will release them to all forum members

I'm confused here. I paid the £15 for them that you were originally asking, then had to request a refund as you didnt have the right item.

Now you're saying I dont have first dibs, despite actually buying them previosuly and you've added £10 to the price? If I already paid for them at £15 just yesterday, should I not be sold them for that price now you've located them?

I actually only need one, so would split if that suits the other buyer.

Hi
I have had over 200 messages regarding these parts so organising via the PM system is hopeless. which is why I requested thru my email.
Ive looked back through the messages and you in fact asked about the covers AFTER Mowflow and when you asked what method of payment I should have first checked they were still available.
The original units I was undsure of the cost so I said £15 which even as seat belt guides is a bargain.
These come with an invoice for almost £37 still packaged and brand new.
The 'door guides' you bought have since been sold to Mowflow and if he isnt interested in tese new set then Im happy to sell them to you.

Hi bs0u0118, I think Russ is still being fair. I actually said I would take and paid for what was advertised as the handles a while before you (if you look back over the last couple of pages you will see that I posted regarding this). When you pointed out they were actually seat belt guides Russ corrected his mistake and refunded me. However, I was after some guides as well so ended up paying the money back and taking the guides.

Russ has been good enough to give me first refusal as first buyer who claimed and paid for them. He could have just readvertised them and I wouldn't have felt hard done to. He's doing his best to be fair and is clearly struggling with the amount of interest and sheer volume of PMs he got over the last couple of days. There have been a few posts with people taking the huff but obviously Russ never started this thread with the intent to con or annoy anyone.

The new inflated price may seem a bit harsh given what he thought were handles were originally advertised at £15. The price is up really up to him at the end of the day he will get what any buyer thinks they are worth.

At the moment I'm not certain if I'm going to take them. I'm looking to do a deal for them and another part I'm after. I'm sure Russ will give you next refusal if I don't, I'm actually surprised he remembered the 2 interested parties in amongst all of the PMs he must have got.

Anyone who has organised anything on here will tell you that it soon gets very confusing when you get so many PMs coming in with peoples usernames/real names etc, much better to get people to email in and setup seperate folders for each item being sold. Best of luck tdz840

The problem is that the PM folders only allow 50 PMs and you can only have 5 PM folders.
Ive exceeded that many times over.
Tried deleting thiose from people niot interested and recommended people email me so I can capture these far easier.
again those that have bought items from me my paypal address is [email protected] and my email address is [email protected]
Im going to try and get the bits out to all of you that have paid by tomorrow.
Those that are still interested in parts (hard top and seats) lets agree a price and time to deliver.
I will update the list as to what is sold
Russ

Perhaps, although I disagree with the change in pricing. It is indeed up to the seller what the price is, but to advertise and pay, then offer the same item back to us at £10 more is just bad practice.

I've had a wanted thread up for a while for these so its just frustrating to lose out after paying, reagardless of whose first on the buzzer.

Looks like the deal is done now, so I wont clutter Russ' thread anymore.

The items you bought and then I subsequently refunded straight away was the seat belt guides. These I valued based on my perception at £15, which you accepted based on the pics.
After you correctly identified these were in fact seat belt guides MowFlow subsequently bought them for £15 - the advertised price.
Then on clearing out looking for boxes for shipping items I found these door covers. Still boxed and unopened from Cotswold BMW it had an invoice for £37.
These I valued as £25 and effe3ctively a new item clearly shown in the pictures. Do they look like the items you 'bought' for £15?
As you say they are my items to value as I please. If too expensive they dont sell.
Its not up to me to look for your wanted items.
I have enough issues dealing with PMs and petty personalaties and people who havent settled with agreed amounts.
Mowflow has secured them, he was first to register an interest now move on.
Jesus dont we have some sensitive people :headbang:
