PM sent RE: grab handle trim

Hi
Seen your PM
When I say happy to negotiate especially regarding multiple items which in your gcase is the gaptech and cubby at £85 total you wanted it at £75-cheeky;)!
I came back with a counter offer at £80 which is the negotiation.
But you want to negotiate the shipping as well with me paying half:O
Plenty of members on here happy to pay the asking price but Im prepared to honour our original agreement price
The shipping you pay the full price which I hazard will be around a tenner but it could be more;)
Let me know if you are still interested

I thought negotiations were done per PM :?

Making all details of any negotiations public and suggesting someone being cheeky in front of an audience by elaborating on your side of the story only is a ) simply is not done in any business whatsoever and b ) is rather strange when the whole negotiation process took place per PM. Any valid reason for going public with all details and not being able to respond on my offer per PM and simply responding to my above board message with a message indicating that you responded again? Even if you would have not been interested in my last offer it would have been a matter of simple decency to let me know that per PM rather than simply not answering anymore in our PM conversation now would not it?

As regards the actual offer, now that you have gone public with all details already, I think you are simply overcharging for what is a piece of second hand electrics. Second hand electrics are always tricky because they need to be properly disconnected and refitted. Where you are charging GBP 75 for a used piece of unknown age, a brand new piece of kit that has never been used is available at only GBP 95. Furthermore your negotiation style is rather strange. You first say in your board message that multiple items will lead to a discount, you offer virtually none (less than 6 %) and then to illustrate you are actually offering a discount you throw in an extra set of kidneys leading to a total price of GBP 100. I mean a) you were charging the full asking price for them of GBP 20, so no discount there and b) do the maths: by doing that you actually lowered the percentual discount for the whole package offered to just 5%. Furthermore you had already sold them so were in no position to offer them anyway ... :headbang:

I do not see why starting negotiations by asking for a discount of 8.5% is cheeky in a situation where someone indicates that a discount is possisble in the first place, especially given that you do not have to deliver in my case along the m1 and - but I admit that is fully from my persective - p&p still needs to be added. Asking to split p&p when paying near the full price is nothing unusual in such a process.

Anyway, go ahead and sell to all those others willing to pay the full asking price. :poke:

Payment sent for item; 20. door internal handle smoked chrome cover pieces

Refund requested - checked picture in first post and checked part code and they are not door handle covers, but appear to be seat belt guide trim.

Hope to get a refund soon.

In answer to your query why I responded out of the PM system is because I have had almost 150 individual PMs regarding these parts.
The PM inbox system can only handle 50 so you need to open a new file each time. You can only have 5 files and some of my previous PMs I intended to keep.
I plan to ask everyone to either respond via email in future.
Re the cost I thought (but clearly dont remember very well that I paid £110 clearly I was wrong and I apologise.
Whether it is expensive is based on peoples value of it; I have had 4 interests at that price so didnt question the price.
My issue was you wanted discount not just on the components but also the shipping which at £10 to Holland is reasonable for a cubby and gaptech which I agreed would go recorded.
I accept youre unhappy with the negotiations and prepared to reopen negotiations to someone else on the list.
Again my apologies you are not happy
