I love the roadster spoiler., I want a spoiler for my coupe. I actually own the carbon fibre one that most have fitted. It was in the body shop to be fitted last year. Then they broke it!! A long story but they paid full bmw retail price as way of compensation and gave it back to me repaired but I cancelled having it fitted, Thinking I would just buy a mint one. I now cant find one. BMW said there are none in the uk. I might fit something different but my options seem very limited. Do you guys have any ideas..

The only one I have seen is the AC Schnitzer (?) one, and it's even more marmite. Not sure if you can still get them.
 
Sorry doesn't do a lot for me :( looks like a carlosfandangogofasterhalfordsspecial that has been stuck on to chav it up - much prefer the uncluttered original arse look but then what'll I know !

Are they only held on with 3M tape?
I thought they were bolted on.

Mine as Stuarts came with the car. TBH I doubt either of us would have fitted. I'm on the look out for a BS boot so at some point I can swap over.

Fab Direct have one but want £250 for it which is about £100 over what I think it's worth.

They are held on by special adhesive

They are held on by special adhesive

It's called Betalink and it's impossible to remove without causing damage.

thats the plan see what happens,got the aero skirts in the shed ready to go and get the bumper next month then to the paint shop cant wait.
work love me at the moment with all xtra hours im doing to pay for it all.

No offence taken :)

As srhutch said, I wouldn't have fitted one but it's grown on me since I've owned the car. I have some aero skirts to get fitted but not spending any more cash for a few months. Various educational establishments, HMRC, christmas, an M road tax disc and £1200 worth of wear and tear all at once on the S-Max have left me somewhat light in the wallet department :cry:

Yes it is genuine and has been painted black. Was for my dad's Z4 convertible but they upgraded their car before the spoiler could be fitted.

Buy it, I've got a aftermarket and it's fine. Look great on black cars. I wasn't sure weather to put mine on first of all but I wouldn't be without now.!!!

If you don't like it you can soon sell it on anyway :thumbsup:
