Karl,

Are these a straight swap for standard halogen lights or would further wiring/coding be needed to fit these? Also where are you based as i may be interested?
Thanks

Paul

Honestly I have no idea, but I have just fitted normal Halogen's in place of them with no error's or coding so should be ok? Oh and yes they plug straight in, no wiring was needed.
I'm in Sudbury, Suffolk.

Here's what I replaced them with...

I'd keep the xenons. It's coming into winter and you may want to actually see where you are going :poke:

If you dont have suspension sensors the auto level wont work and your car may fail its MOT

However, I think ranski passed an MOT without them checking the auto level, so you might get away with it

I did look to see if I could retro fit the BMW Xenons into my new ones but sadly they wouldn't fit! lol

I'm a little bit confused. I was looking at these after market headlights before I did my clear light project, but all the information I could see said you could not replace the OEM Xenons with these halogens?

Do these aftermarket lights work fully without any modifications to wiring etc?

On a seperate note, that is a really good price for a pair of Xenons

Well I did yesterday, no problems or modifications at all! lol
The bulb out dash warning light still works as I fitted them first without dipped beam bulbs and it lit, I then fitted the bulbs and it went out and has stayed out as expected.

As far as I can tell the car does not know what headlights are fitted, the wiring for both Xenon and Halogen are identical it's only what's inside the light that is different.

Is it, what do they normally go for?

Not sure what they normally go for. But new ones are in the region of £600 each.

I paid more for Halogens with clear indicators, for my conversion project :o
