Hi chap, does the rear bumper have OEM PDC fitted? And is it in good condition bar the paint work, i.e. will be 100% with a respray?

Yep has oem parking sensors and holders.

The bumper has lacquer scratches where a woman scuffed my rear bumper and drove off but no other damage.... Should be able to get a picture up on sunday after the exhaust is taken off.

I'll sort one out this week before it comes off... As i have one from when it was first fitted but the sound has changed slightly after 15k miles.

Well sadly after 5+ years its time for my beloved Zed to go... New job with a car allowance means the company car has to go and i need a car that is under 7 years old.

So I plan to demod it over the next few months.... Updated the below 04/01 - which the names who have dibs... i will add pictures later on.

1. Standard BMW performance strut Brace - I bought this from a fellow member 2 years ago and never fitted. Want what i originally paid back - £160 + P&P - SOLD PaulGTS
2. Aero Skirts Sapphire Black - think they are 2 years old... Stupidly i threw away my original ones when i moved house - so will require a swap with Sapphire black + cash (looking for £150) Can swap it one weekend - i am based in Derby/ Burton but travel to London often enough. - YORKIEZ
3. Illuminated door sills i got these from a forum member a couple of years ago - want back what i paid - £60 Moheddine
4. M front bumper - with brake ducts, brackets (which i believe are no longer available to buy) and undertray will need a respray has a crack on the fang - Looking for £300 collected Derby - See pics further down.

Cheers Craig... It does sadden me to have to part ways with my Z... Its the longest i have owned a car... So thats says a lot about something which on paper should only be a summer car!

This is a great forum... Been less active in the recent years but i have to hang around after all the fun i have had... And may even sneak the new motor to another welsh run!

Is any modification needed to fit them to a 2003 car?
Also the undertray if that is needed to fit with the bumpers? Is it a straight swap for the one that I already have?

If you have a 3L the front will fit fine, if you dont then you may need headlight washers.

The rear unfortunately will require you to get facelift rear lights as the profile is slightly different...

With a £7k px (and one Audi dealer offering £6.3k) probably would be cheaper :lol:

OK got my rear bumper and exhaust off today. felt quite sad really... the drive back from the garage the car also felt a little rubbish too... so i cheered it up and fitted the original big aerial :lol:

Anyway here is a video of the exhaust from this morning... with the gale force wind as background noise!









The paint damage - just a surface scratch - but will require a respray:



Local garage which removed it charged £110 - and he said would cost similar to get it fitted to another z4 - to give some idea of fitting costs.

Haha didnt realise my car was visible back there!

After owning it for over 5 years my Z still puts a smile on my face, really wasnt as excited as i thought i would!

Maybe as its the first time i havent had a convertible in 7 or so years - a fixed roof just seems so common!!
