Really considering selling my Intravee II along with the much sort after KCA 420i which has been modded to wake-up the ipod from hibernation (means you can leave you ipod permanently connected). I brought this for my old E46 330cd which had the sat nav, unfortunately my Z4 dose not have Sat nav so i've not been to impressed with it. A lot more work needs to be done for the UI2. If your car has sat nav this is the best ipod interface on the market. Its still currently installed in my car so I need to remove it. I will also include the serial cable so you can update the intravee to the latest firmware and change the UI back to 6 for the Nav

I've also got a Rolf Resler USB Interface. Used this in my on my old car as well. Allows you to enable TV on the move and Voice recognition an many more things using NavCoder

someone was after the TV mod a couple of days ago, the name escapes me though, maybe worth a search.

How is the 420i modded? I have heard about the mod but I haven't seen whether it is a DIY jobbie or you have to send it away (I have one that needs modding). I'm not having much success with the setting two alarms method of keeping it awake.

I done it my self, got the parts and solder it together, pretty easy, not really done much soldering. have a look here.
 
it's alright, nothing great without the Sat-Nav screen as you say, but I will hopefully be looking into getting the screen early next year.

There are lots of deals for the KCA, I paid £40, but there were a number of Halfords outlets doing it for £10.
 
Halfords were selling off the KCA's because they've been discontinued. There are none left at £10. The best I found was ebay for about £30-50.
 
So £200 isn't a great deal then... :)

jan_tekin, what's with the high pricing? I maybe interested as I have no cd changer, etc, but at a much lower price than that...

I'm may end up keeping it. Would love to install the Sat Nav but I can't see that happing.
