FS - Interlagos Blue Z4MC

Hi guys

Just sounding market here as had another car offered to me at a great deal unexpectedly but would need to sell Z quickly:

2006/06
Inter blue / champagne leather
62k
4 owners with first owner being BMW UK PR launch car. Sold through BMW approved to last 2 owners.
Standard apart from eibach springs
FSH (last was insp 1 in December 2015 / 10k to next service - BMW or specialist)
Excellent condition! Thousands spent on detailing with receipts alone
All books/keys/stamps/invoices
Open to sensible offers. I looked for months to come across this one and paid 18k earlier this year and looking to recoup investment if possible.
Please PM me if interested - need to sell quick to line up car I want to buy.

Pics can be sent if interested and will upload ASAP. Car only in market for weekor so before I sell or keep her.

Hi Chaps,

Yep I have to say the views on the market and values really are all over the place right now....

There are some grunters out there for circa 16k.....trust me I looked at cars in this range and there was a reason I paid good money for this specific car. I have had a family member offer me their 2011 997.2 S at webuyanycar money (They are buying an M2) which is the only reason I am even considering this sale (I wish I had the space and money to have both as I really think in 2-3 years time when drivers are bored of all the new tech/DCT stuff that these ZMCs will be the motor to own!)

I am of course open to sensible offers and in all honesty after going out for what I thought would be my "final drive" yesterday if she doesn't sell.....I wont be at that gutted as this was certainly not my plan a few days ago 8).

Here are some photos taken over the last 5 months - As you can see pretty mint condition: https://www.flickr.com/photos/20364927@N04/sets/72157674347386720

Cheers

For reference, sold my silver one for <£17k a few months back. Had almost every option (incl Nav, Carver) and c.56k miles.

Great cars - wouldn't mind having another, but had to make space for another toy.

So had quite a few emails the last few days but after driving the 997.2 S again today I have decided to keep the Z4M and to continue to invest in her (intake, exhaust, aero skirts hopefully). Certainly not worth the extra 30-35k to change up :o

While the 997 was faster (slightly) it didn't have the same raw driving experience I remembered before I purchased the M and would be great if I used as a daily driver but my Z4M lives in a heated garage, seeing sunny days only.

Thanks everyone for your interest and PMs. I have seen a number of owners get cold feet (or want to buy back after selling) so for now it stays with me.....Seriously is there a better car that can be purchased in this price range! I don't think so.

It is nice, but with not a lot of spec, milage and time of year I would agree with Mr Wilks might be tough

Leather looks like Sepang from the pics.

997.1 2006+ revised IMS bearing model for under £25k felt like an excellent deal to me!

But for £30-35k more... no thanks

Not to detract from the sales post, but I think the seats just need a deep clean. They look shiny meaning dirty leather. A very easy job for any perspective buyer (or the seller if they have a spare 1-2 hours).

Yep sorry they are Sepang....thanks for reminding me of the right colour name. I forgot. They do need to be cleaned - I only had the exterior detailed in August and the seats are next on the list.

In terms of spec its got the stuff I wanted.....didn't want Nav (they are useless and didn't like dash position), cruise not needed as its my toy (never cruise).....I do wish it had the uprated stereo and heated seats but for me I purchased due to my fave colour combo by far, immaculate history and excellent condition. If it was my daily I would have wanted more spec.....but I am too old to use this as my daily now. 520d Msport touring auto does that nicely.

As for the 997.1 S Convertible - That was my previous car actually before I purchased the M! Got burned by that. Engine Rebuild due to bore scoring (very common issue in the 997). Would only buy a Gen 2 now. Also the Z4MC is way more fun as a garage toy! I found the 997.1 a great high speed cruiser.

On the back of making the decision to keep her I have purchased......GruppeM intake, BCS mufflers, ZHP, Stubby, Rear carbon lip spoiler, Front Strutbrace......just Aero Skirts to find now)

See you guys at an event next year!!
