Well, it's not that I don't want to ship the hardtop. I just have no clue how to pack and ship this thing. It's HUGE.

An idea on shipping besides the obvious companies, may want to check with Greyhound, they will transport items at times

For anyone who's curious, I measured the top and it is 62" wide (left to right side) 21" tall and 49" long (front to back).

By the way out of curiosity I checked at the dealer yesterday, and BMW has raised the hardtop's MSRP from $2900 to $3800 due the Euro's. You can still get it brand new for $3K from Tischer BMW (who used to sell the hardtop for $2300). Shipping would be about $290.

For those who don't have the hard-top prep kit, I'll throw in my kit for free since I'll have no use of it without the hardtop. Install is pretty easy and I believe install manual can be found online.
