mmm-five

I know someone on here was looking for a set of genuine CSL wheels, but I don't know who it was, so I'll post this for general consumption.

I've got a mate who's been collecting sets of them for his CSL (git) - one for track (with cups), one for road (with PS2s), one for winter (Pilot Alpins), one for shows (with cups), and a spare set (just because) - but his missus has had enough and he's got to get rid of a set to appease her.

He's going to initially offer them on the CSL Register and this forum (because I told him they'd be popular here too), before offering them on ebay, as he (his missus) wants them gone quickly :P

Now updated to show pictures and the price he's settled on.

I have a full genuine set of BMW CSL rims for sale surplus to my requirements.

They are CSL sizes, 8.5Jx19 et42 and 9.5Jx19 et27.

They are used but in really good condition, nearly perfect. No kerb rash or substantive marks of any kind.

Price £1350 cash plus postage (or collection from Solihull).

Anyone who's interested can PM me and I'll give you his email/phone number and do the deal direct - I'm only posting this as he's not a member.

Nice wheels mmm-five.

Out of interest how much are the wheels on the E92 M3 Competition/GTS/1 Series M Coupe ? Anyone know ? Cheaper or similar to a set of new CSL's (£1700 from Simpsons incl VAT).

these wheels are a bargain in this condition @ this price!!

GTS/ new style CSLs are the wrong offset for the ///Ms, theyll rub like crazy.

I did suggest to his missus that I'd happily take a set off his hands (for free obviously) :P

Buy a cheaper set then, no-one is forcing you to buy anything :D

They're not mine and I'm just advertising them for a friend, so it's not my place to set the price. I've also seen them go from as little at £800, to as much as £1500 for wheels only (and not much more with tyres) - in fact I sold mine for £1000 plus a set of standard Z4M wheels with new Contisport M3 tyres (so a total price of between £1400 and £1800 depending on how you price the Z4M wheels).

i paid less but by the time i had them refurbed they cost alot more, then add some top spec tyres and your talking 2.5k easily, so to get a set thats ready to rock and just stick on the car is imo worth a slight premium, plus bmw has put the price up on these rims Again.

demand and supply is everything.

I've not looked at new prices for these since I had my own up for sale, but Simpsons want £1700 a set, and Cooper BMW (Inchcape) want £1800 for the set. I suppose there might be some room for negotiation in those prices, but then there's probably room for negotiation in any price.

No offense intended. I've been keeping my eye open since the new year. Cheapest I've seen was £700 straight after Christmas and need a refurb. Feel slightly stupid for not buying them like I was told to.

These need tyres as well though don't they mate? If they were literally ready to fit then I wouldn't have made the comment.
