I know there are a few moutain bikers on here so, up for sale is my 2008 Gary Fisher Hi-Fi Pro. I am the second owner, having bought it last year from my cousin. Condition wise, it's in great shape with the only items to point out being some missing paint on the chainstay from chain suck and a chip to the carbon seat stay. The brakes have had recent pads, the wheels are true and the front forks work with the usual Fox smoothness.
When it came to me it had no bottom bracket, since the original bottom bracket on the drive side had come loose and in so doing had stripped the internal threads. It had been my plan to rob the bike for parts for a steel hardtail build but after some initial investigation I spotted that only a small section of the drive side threads were damaged and that the threads further inboard were fine. As a result I've fitted a brand new Shimano Saint BB with a much longer drive side thread which has solved the probelm perfectly.
Now that it's working again it seems a shame to split it all up, and since I already have a Lapierre full-sus, it's available for sale.
Collection from Guildford, Surrey in exchange for £650
