FS: eBay: Sport seats - Black

Electric doesn't matter (the bases are transferrable), it's the heated that'll let them down for some.

There's no clarification of what year car they came out of though, this is an issue as pre/post facelift cars have different occupancy sensors (you can get around this)

These are perfect for someone with a facelift with normal electric (not heated) seats as heated seats are not an easy retro fit in the facelift where as they are in the earlier zed's (just plug and play).
 
Contacted the seller about these they came out of a 2006........would these not fit in my 2004 (Pre-facelift) Z, I don't have heated seats, just electric only?

They'll fit just fine, easiest way to do it is to fit an occupancy sensor bypass box, and then pull the pins apart in the seatbelt. Sorted. Transfer your bases onto these and you'll have electric m sport seats :)
 
Forget these seats, they seem over priced. This is the second time he's listed them, had them up for a month.

Fab direct have a full red interior heated and memory on eBay at the moment for the same money.!!
 
A fair point (if he wants red and doesn't mind the hassle of removing the and re-fitting the doorcards)
 
If these could be had for under £600......would that be considered "cheap"?

What's peoples opinion on these with regards to price?........is it really that easy to swap them over?

I paid £600 for a set of manual heated seats just over a year ago.

To be honest I'd be reluctant to pay over £500 for a pair of manual heated seats. RJS-Z4 is right, they can be swapped to electric seats quite easily (we have done it!) but you have to consider you still need a donor set to swap. Any more than £500 and I'd consider putting the extra to a heated set when one comes along.
 
My seats are standard....and electric only.....no need for donor as I can swap bases over......I'm not bothered about heated too much involved for me!
 
I offered the guy £350 for them just before xmas as a cheeky offer, he turned it down but was polite. he told me he had been offered £500 for them.

If you really wanted them you could start low and then hit him with a offer just over £500

We have indeed done the swap of the bases,and it's very easy, just a bit fiddly.

The listing ended on these...........now relisted again?

I take it they are not as desirable because they are not electric and heated...........same price as electric and heated doesn't help I'm sure!!
 
Just to advise that CJ swapped his bases from non M-Sport seats to M-Sport seats so you do not need donor bases, you can use your existing ones.

The seller of these has just called round to see if i'd know of anyone that would be interested in these as he lives nearby, i said theres a thread on the z4 forum about them so i showed him, it turns out the that the reason they were ended and relisted was due to a complete time waster, that agreed a price, then tried knocking it down again which the seller allowed, the seller even agreed to drive 3 hours and took half days leave to meet this guy, only for him to try and knock him down again, he said these were too expensive and he'd bought electric ones, if you bought electric ones why the f**k would you still want these ones? luckly this was the night before meeting him, as you have all probably guessed reading this thread the guy is bmrich15, i dont like getting involved in things like this but i think its disgusting the way this guy has gone about this, we all like a bargin but some people take it too far :poke:
