Have you had any response or enquiries ?
in 2 weeks ive had 3 emails/calls but as yet all too far away for a viewing which i,m sure will clinch the sale on our 330d .
Takes time, effort & patience selling private

We're in the same boat then Mr.W. Ive had 6 emails via PH and the E90 forum. 2 of which wanted to px for their e46 M3 convertible the others wanted to know if I was flexible on price. Replied to all but as yet no responses. Like you say, it will happen just have to be patient. ...especially with my new PH ad shots

You are Perry, but not something I've already been doing myself,
Saw this on AT last night. Price seems too cheap right?!

Yes, that's #19, it's been for sale for ages and things look a bit odd to me...

It was up for sale on AutoTrader in July last year

Then it 'sold' on eBay twice in early Aug (61,800 miles) first time for £8600 but didn't meet the reserve (BIN on it was £10,250), second time for £8750 (BIN of £9750)

I exchanged emails with the owner when it was up as a classified ad on eBay in May (65,500 miles). That time he declined an offer of £9000 - but then it was located in Eastbourne not Greenhithe. He said he was selling 'to scratch a 911 itch'

Up again on eBay in June (65,500 miles) and he declined an offer of £8600 (the 911-itch reason for sale didn't work so the listing said he may PX for E46 M3 or Z3M)

And now it's up on eBay again with a BIN of £9,500 but has shifted to Greenhithe, same owner but, mysteriously, according to the eBay ad has done 63,700 miles!!

I'd have thought that, if it were in good order, it would have been snapped up by now. He'd be better off selling the hard top separately for about £700 on eBay, and he could probably sell the car for £8500 without problems

Not deliberately, I've been trying to collate details of all 167 RHD cars so whenever I see/hear of one for sale I check it out to see if it's one of the 20 cars that I'm missing

Interesting. Had thought of contacting him about a px with my 335. Seems a little sketchy, but at that price...
He's only 15 minutes from me too.

If he's only 15 minutes away, you have little to lose by going and having a look

The car might well be fine and it's just inept selling that's the problem. At that price, as long as it's mechanically sound, you could spend 2k bringing it up to standard cosmetically and still come out ahead... and you have a garage to store the tin top for when you want to relive the coupe experience

Just emailed him. Thrown the dice.

Why not telephone him - you might get more of an idea if it's worth the effort?

I enquired on his hardtop in April and he told me £1500... Few weeks ago he contacted me to offer it at £750.

I'm sure the car was £10995 when I initially contacted him, not sure

Been in contact. He decided to leave the auction running and #19 now sold on ebay for £8766. Checked out some of your AlpinaRegister talk too Perry; seems new owner will be No.6.
