FS Cruise stalk and lower cowel

My M came with no cruise and so i took the old stalk and lower steering cowel (with cut out) from my old 3.0 and swapped them over with the intention of getting the whole lot wired up but just never got round to it.

So, i'm going to put it back as it was as i rarely use the car anyway and will be sadly selling it soon.

Is there anyone near north london or hertfordshire that wants to swap the cowel for theres and give me some cash for the cruise stalk??

FYI *Cruise is a straight plug and play for pre facelift cars and a only a secondary cable needed for post and non M's*

If bmrich15 doesn't want this then I'd like second dibs please

If you get it bing I'll be paying attention to how easy you fit the loom, saw this pop up before and nearly put dibs down but chickened out.

I am mentally ignoring the Loom Issue for now - Mod Denial. Happened with the last part I bought too... I have been talking about this for ages and just need to do it. However bmrich will have the loom and it will work, so I think he's in like Flynn on this one :(

Yes, pretend the loom is there until you get the stalk , then come to terms with it. Pre-facelifters get it so easy, at least it puts hairs on our chest when we bite the bullet to retro fit

Hey guys i was sort of hoping someone nearby would be able to swap rather than me having to sell without having a replacement cowel for myself.

If aquazi has a spare that i can take of him then i'll be happy to sell/post mine.

Further info to come.... :)

is it a big job to retrofit the cruise loom?

There's a good thread somewhere on the net as a how-to but it quotes a time allocation of "x hours" to complete the job. Lol. Not difficult but fiddly I thought. Spanner / cheap plastic rash galore.

I'm in nw6 and will happily take you up on this, assuming that the stalk and cowl are in decent nick. Obviously the other guys get first dibs if you are willing to sell the stalk separately.
