Yes, absolutely, it's the exact same airbag for both types. There is a youtube video on "how to", I can send you the link if needed.

Existing MF ones from a std steering does require modification of the lower outside spoke cover (how-to posted here by another member some time ago), but yes it would work.

Oh, and impulse Christmas presents are often the most satisfying ones
