Yours for £17 delivered ...

Hi can you post links/description of where I can buy this. I have a USB OBD2 and INPA but cant get it connected even with a fresh WinXP install. Errrr, really frustrating.

Mmm ebay time lol, am I right in thinking this would allow you to code cruise to a post 05 car and/or code keys for extra functions?

I might be selling mine if anyone's interested. Got it from bmcables but buggered if I can work the software out.

Gonna pay a garage to give me a printout of errors instead.

Thanks for the link, ginge.
Do you mean to say that you have the old version working and not able to download the new version to use with your cable.

Has anybody else used this before? I have a similar cable and INPA that doesnt work.

I'm gonna start fresh, do you think I should reinstall my laptop with XP or 7?

If I struggle this time round, then would be good to meet up to see what i'm doing wrong.

Cheers
Dan

If you're able to get drivers for all the devices in your laptop and you're dedicating it to the car, load XP.

If your setup isn't working, it might be worth checking the cable itself. I had a dry joint in mine where they'd bridged two pins badly using a blob of solder. (6&7 iirc)

Bridging the pins with wire properly soldered fixed it.
