FS Black leather electric seats

You could always try advertising on some of the VW van forums - these seats are a nice fit in T5 vans like mine, and are far cheaper than the individual VW front seats that everyone with a twin-bench front seat wants:

Also, I too have done the swap-bases-over thing and it's not difficult, just fiddly at times!

navid.v, just added another link to that post.

thanks for that,I wouldn't be needing that though as mine are already heated.

I was hoping that I wouldn't need to take my seats out, just to make them electrical but don't seem to be that easy or cheap

Argh, so after looking for that thread and finding it, you beat me to it Pawn.

Yeah you have to take the seats out :D

If anyone is interested im after £150 for the pair or near offer. If thats unreasonable then let me know, but they are great seats, and i could split them down and get a lot more, but i dont want to.

navid.v, with your age of car you should have the wiring loom there already - hope so as I may do the same one day. Rob's post was there for the wiring connection pictures not present in CJ's post - he had more work to do as his is a later year. But in 2003 BMW were being quite lazy (thank goodness) and just fitting the car with cabling for options whether they are selected or not.

Chris,

one perfect suggestion for you that sorts your problem out :P
my birthday is coming up,you can give them to me as a present and I will even drive and pick them up,what else do you want

£150 is a good price, that is what the fellow member paid on ebay for a set like this as well.

Ok as just dont know what they would go for, but being all electric and with looms etc, think they are well worth £150

Unless chris is short for Christine, I am not interested ...

:gfight:

Maybe I moved the pictures of my conversion.

If it helps I swapped bases and sold on my then standard manual heated non electric bases to a VW camper owner for around £270 on Ebay. Electric have to be worth similar or more than manual.
