FS: Black leather door cards - ANY Offer Considered

from Z4 Roadster, In great condition, got them with my new interior, but don't need to swap.

£80? collected from Leeds or Cumbria, or + £20 post.

I can indeed confirm that the black leather door cards are indeed....black. ALL black, leather, plastics, handles, all black.
 
I hate to spoil the fun but Bradders most likely meant the plastic trim as earlier Zeds cane in either grey or black plastic onto which the insert of leather was then available in a variety of colours black, red, etc.

You also need to match leather type as they are very different in texture between New England and Oregon.

That's exactly what I meant CJ. Thanks for confirming someone else who knows a thing or two about Z4 trim variants! :wink: How on earth did AlanJ manage to get moderator status with such a limited knowledge of the vehicle? :roll: :wink:

My door cards are unfortunately the earlier grey colour but have red inserts since I bought my black M Sport seats. When I saw 'black leather' in the title, I felt it was worth a shot asking as it was unclear exactly what was on offer!

Yeah, yeah, it's alright for you modern Z4 owners with plush jet black door cards looking down on us 03 owners with miserable grey. :cry:
 
You could always buy a set of black cards and chisel the black leather section off then swap them over. If you do both without damage to the leather (easy enough) then there will be a demand for your red leather inserts.

I would ahve purchased them up to 2 weeks ago but scored a pair of red leather on black that I needed.

To be honest, I've already started the process on the black with black leather door cards I received with the seats. However, after several hours (successfully) chiseling off the leather inserts, I've lost heart in doing the same to my existing cards. It might still be the best option though, just wish I had your patience.

Bradders - the grey trimmed ones only ever came with the red interior, so you'll never get factory door cards black/grey :(

B*gger. Oh well, thanks for that, I'll just have to crack on with separating my leather inserts and swapping them over to black. There might be some cut'n'shut black cards with red leather inserts up for sale in the future if anyone might be interested. :?
 
Yeah that sounds like a plan. Can't you get the red ones dyed black by someone? Would have thought red to black would be do-able?

Never even occurred to me that they could be dyed but I'll look into it, thanks. :thumbsup:
