Well, seat frames, bases and backs......

I bought electric memory z4m seats last week but my car isn't prewired for power seats so the bases were switched to manual frames . I don't know what functions work on the electric bases as I can't test. The driver seat looks intact all motors and movements in place. The passenger seat has all motors but one of the horizontal rods that sits between the runners and matching mechanism is missing (the motor for this is plastic strapped to the yellow connections plug bracket (the yellow block is missing too). The pretensioners are not with the frames either.

Are these worth anything to anyone as spares or repairs? Do you want to switch to electric memory from manual, do you have a need for a motor?

Have seen individual motors sell on eBay for £25.

Anyone wanna take these bases for about £100.

I have yet to install the New passenger seat but when I do I hope the heating pads work on it, if all is ok with them then ill also be selling the standard sport seats (se) squabs and backrests. All in as new condition and heating that warms up very quickly. Possibly needs occu sensor as I need to have the seat belt buckled otherwise the warning chime sounds in the car whilst driving.

Upgrade from fabric? Or gain heating? Swapping these over would take approx an hour each from what you have and will any z4 frames. I know I've done it ;)

If interested, I would be looking for £150 - good value when compared to just buying heating pads only from BMW.

Thanks.

Both new seats in the car now and heating working properly, so all of above now definately for sale.

let me know if im way off with the pricing, thanks.

Not for the zed but for my old spitfire perhaps

Not sure what you're offering though? Any pics? Seats with frames? Heated? Or am I being dull?

Cheers

i have complete black leather heated seats with electric bases, its just that they re in thre parts - bases, separate from backs, separate from the squabs.

Does anyone know a way of testing whether electric seats work without them being plugged into a car?

Supply power to the two pins on the seat connector used for the seat motors. Not sure on the earlier cars, but on post facelift they are pins 13 (power) and 14 (ground).

Excellent! Thank you. Will hopefully give me info needed to be clearer with the FS ad.
