FS - Black hardtop - SOLD !!

The time has come to sell my beloved car and so I'll be selling the hardtop separately.
It's metallic black sapphire and in fantastic condition. Comes complete with the storage case, centre cover and fixing tool. The only thing missing is the 2 side covers.

Asking price £775.00

Here's the pic before I removed from the car.

Yes I know it's at the high end but this really is a beauty !!

Lovely item !! Sadly with the side covers missing ( now unavaible) I think your going to struggle at 775.... This really looks incomplete without them!!!

I was a little disappointed when I found out the side covers were no longer available. However, in the 2 years I've had the hardtop i can't say that it bothered me...if anything made it easier to make the odd adjustments LOL !
 
The 2 side covers which conceal the fixing points on either side.

Not sure which specific black it is. My car is Schwarz (according to the original sepc). This hardtop seems to be a more metallic/sparkly black.

Hope that makes sense.
 
Hi, I might be interested in this. I am in the process of buying a Sapphire Black Z4 (pending an inspection which is due to happen this morning).

Can I ask - where in the country are you based?

Are the missing side covers an internal or external thing?

Will this fit the facelift (2006 onwards) model? Excuse me if this is a daft question, I am not sure if the earlier ones share the same roof.

Hi Dan,

Not daft questions at all.

The missing covers are internal. They cover the locking mechanism on each side. I have the cover that fits in the roof lining so it doesn't leave a gaping hole.

yes this will fit the facelift model.

I'm based in Calne, Wiltshire. About 20 mins from either J16 or J17 M4.

I am based in East Sussex.

As I said earlier, I am waiting on the outcome of the vehicle inspection today, so I can let you know either way by tomorrow at the latest. Then we can work out logistics :-)

Unfortunately there were a couple of issues identified as part of the inspection. I am just trying to negotiate an appropriate discount or get them to repair the issues, but negotiations seems to have stalled for now.

Your car looks to be a very nice example, but I really want a 3.0 SI model for a bit of extra BHP.

I will hold fire on the roof for now, but will come right back to see if it's still for sale if I do get it.
