FS: 3.0i Rear Spring M Sports Suspension

Just replaced both my rear springs as one was cracked. The other is still useable, albeit with some corrosion on the lower coils, so is free to a good home if you pay postage/collect from Leamington.

It has at least 20k miles on it and came off the NS of a 2003 3.0i with M sports suspension.
The spring has 3 green dabs of green paint on it, which according to forum knowledge means it is SE spec...however checking the part number on the BMW genuine parts catalogue, and with the dealer direct it is in fact M sport.

I can confirm that following a detailed discussion with a BMW tech, the Sports springs come with either 3 dabs of blue or green paint. Which is very confusing....

Ah cool, so you confirmed mine were sport. I was sure they were :thumbsup:
 
Yeah the paint codes changed and the original codes were superseded with different ones apparently.

Part numbers are the way to go, as mentioned above :)
