For sale is my 2004 Z4 3.0 manual which I have owned since October 2017. I spent a lot of time looking for the right example and travelled up to Scotland to pick up this one.
Has had 6 previous owners. One before me only owned it for 3 months as he went to Le Mans and couldn’t take his company car abroad.
The owner before that had it for c.3 years and was garaged most of the time only being used in summer months.

The car is completely standard and has been my daily driver. I regularly drive up the M5 to Warwick for work and the car generally averages 40+ MPG cruising at 65mph in 6th gear. Only reason for selling is I require something more practical due to the arrival of a new dog.

I am a keen BMW enthusiast have replaced and refurbished various items as needed to keep the car looking in top condition. It really is really in remarkable condition for its age. The underside is extremely clean and the paint is completely original apart from the front bumper which I have had resprayed to get rid of stone chips. I have regularly cleaned and conditioned the leather and it has a lovely OEM matt finish.

Specification:
• 71,000 miles (won't go up much now as car is in storage)
• Full service history (mixture of dealers and independents)
• Titanium Silver metallic paint in superb condition
• Black leather seats – heated.
• Fully electric seats with driver’s memory
• BMW Business navigation (the small screen one)
• Factory Bluetooth (works with my iPhone 6)
• Factory fitted wind deflector with storage clips in boot
• Retrofitted cruise control
• 6 disc CD changer.
• Stainless steel exhaust tips
• Halogen headlights
• Headlight cleaning system
• Rain sensitive wipers
• Auto headlights
• M Sport suspension
• Automatic air conditioning

Common issues
• The roof motor was replaced by the previous owner and I have cleared out the drain holes myself every 6 months.
• Tramlining: the car was tramlining quite badly when I bought it so I swapped out the front tyres (which were runflats) for Good year Eagle F1s at around 64k miles.
• Water leaks: I have replaced both inner membranes on the doors and resealed using Butyl tape so are completely water tight.

Recent Maintenance + spend
• November 2018: Full hunter wheel alignment with unlimited re-alignments within 2 years.
• August 2018: Resprayed front bumper to get rid of stone chips and general wear and tear including new OEM headlight washer covers.
• January 2018: Interior trims refurbished with alcantara to replace worn silver plastics.
• January 2018: Refurbished passenger brake caliper due to slight seizing (no impact on discs or pads)
• December 2017: 6x Bosch Spark plugs and coil packs fitted by myself due to one failing so replaced all 6 as preventative maintenance
• November 2017: Shortly after purchasing the car I had it fully undersealed so it was ready for winter duties.
• November 2017: Oil + filter change at 62,000 miles using Castrol Edge 5w-30 oil.
• November 2017: Run flat tyres have been changed for Goodyear Eagle F1s at the front (done in my ownership) and Bridgestone RE040 at the rear (before my ownership)

Faults
• Small car park pin dent to the passenger side door (no paint damage and smaller than 5p coin)
• Alloys are not kerbed anywhere but do have some slight corrosion under the paint (I use the car daily so it sees both winter and summer roads!)

£5.2k OVNO.

Cool, I'm travelling back to Cardiff on Saturday morning from Surrey for the christmas period. Would a saturday afternoon or sunday viewing be possible do you think?

Thanks

Out of curiosity what navigation is fitted as I couldn't see the swivel plate on the dashboard?

It's the 'business' navigation not the 'professional' navigation. The voice is the same but the screen is just a series of arrows. God knows why you'd be happy to spec a £1k navigation system when the colour system is only £500 more! but i'm quite happy now as it looks much neater than the out of date game boy poking out of the dashboard

Thanks, personally I dislike the revolving dashboard satnav because it will become a dust pit and more importantly there will come a time when it will not revolve.

Good news, but please let me know if this becomes available again (sale falls through) as I'm very interested.

Cheers

Sold!

Now got a lovely e46 330d m sport touring - been mapped to 250hp and bucket loads of torque. Different motor but still a bmw
