For sale owing to relocation to Scottish Island where single-track and generously pot-holed roads makes owning such a car a bit of a nonsense. This is a genuine and proper car realistically priced to sell.

Don't tell me this is your 3rd Z4MR, or still just on the second one? TBH your new home is the best environment for an ///M.
 
Bah. Rumbled! It's me......... I just keep on coming back for more don't I! I DO love these cars and had set my mind to keeping this one (the nicest so far) for a year or two but I gotta say that I just will NOT be able to justify owning and trying to run such a beastie on the lousy roads of the Isle of Mull. So, she'd perhaps best go to another good home. It's a proper car priced to sell dontcha agree? Hope you are keeping OK Mike and enjoying the SLK.

Yep it's awesome still.

Any luck with the sale yet Mike? Why didn't you keep the 55 you had, that was a fantastic car? Did you do alright when you flogged it on?

Z4M gone as of today and as per above post.

Truth is with the SLK55AMG, I loved the engine and roof but HATED the auto box - waaaaaaaaay too slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow to respond, clunky and with a mind of its own at times. I bought for £43K, did 3K miles or so and sold it for £39.5 to TOP555. They had it for 4-5 months and ended up selling it on for £40K or so.

Well you ended up doing OK on the '55 and the Z4, not a bad result at £27k I don't think :thumbsup:
