OK this isn't going to be the best presented ad ever but here goes:

I have found a car I want but it is private so I need to get rid of mine. My fall back position is we-buy-any-car and I don't want to go down the autotrader/pistonheads route. So if I can get a few quid extra someone here can get a good deal, but I haven't got time for tyre kickers

the car Built Aug 2006, registered sep 2006. SE model NOT Sport. First owner 6 years, me for the last 2
you will all know the standard spec, black leather, factory options heated seats and cupholders. I have added stubby aerial, aux input jack and Nokia Bluetooth. 88,000 miles (nearly forgot!)

servicing: oil then insp 1 by bmw, oil then insp 2 by indy specialist, then serviced at point of sale 2 years ago. I did oil/filter change last year insp 1 is now due. Will have fresh MOT this week. Only thing it's needed in my ownership is a replacement brake caliper (sticking/grabbing). Tax is to October

wheels are style 108s which have had proper tyres off rims split refurb, but I did put a small mark on one bolting them back together (doh!) tyres are Falken 452 non RFs with even wear and loads of life

I will try to get at least one pic up but can email to anyone interested. PM on here to contact me. I'm in East Cheshire, Any questions please ask

you may want to embed the pic link or potential buyers may think the images of broken mechanical,s are of the Z4 being sold :o

That didn't quite work as expected but you should be able to see some pics now. I will try to do better ones at the weekend when I give her a proper clean.

Update: MOT took 3 days due to waiting for correct rear brake pipe to arrive. Rest of the pics in that album are not the same car btw

On pricing I wouldn't say "cheap" I would just say realistic. I know what the "trade" price of the car is. I could hang on for a little more from the right buyer but time is short. If you are watching the market I'm sure you will soon see this car again with a healthy mark up for a dealer somewhere

A good deal for someone, looks like a much more expensive car, though obviously I would say that! PMs replied to

Looks like a nice car you have there.
What is the situation regarding sticky steering on a coupe? Do they have the same steering column design as the convertible. If they do is it likely to have the new problem free design with yours being an 06?

Hi,
I sent you a message about your Z4 but not sure if it sent ok. Can you let me know if you didn't receive it.
Many thanks,
Jayne

I don't know - what is the situation with the sticky steering column on the coupe? AFAIK all coupes and roadsters for MYs 03 to 08 use the same electric steering column. Doesn't seem to be the same kind of troublespot that it can be on Minis

The column was revised, there have been one or two steering issues on facelift cars, but it's not something would worry about.
