Still haven't been able to pick up the 3.0si yet. . .

They have front discs on back order in Germany

Well at least the weather's been poor whilst I'm waiting to hear!

Its the waiting thats the killer for me so understand your frustration :cry:

On a positive note though, this gives you time to list all those mods you have planned and to take advantage of the sales to stock up on cleaning products which you will require for your new baby. Finally decide which dash cam you are going to go for so that you can record all those fabulous roads you are going to enjoy driving down and to record the sound of the 3.0 litres exhaust when you open her up :D :driving:
 
Have to say, I've never heard of discs having to be back ordered. That's weird :?

Anyhoo, it'll be worth the wait :thumbsup:

Have lots of products just waiting to be applied! And I think they'll be needed this time of year. . .

What impressed me was how well the exhaust sounded from inside the Zed (test driven with roof down - I know, I know, supposed to have the roof up to listen for noises but hey - it was the performance I was mostly interested in and the car felt very tight and well planted - anything else I'll refer to the warranty?!)

Bing - yes I know what you mean though some of my friends suggested that fewer and fewer spares were kept in stock to reduce costs - they'd had the same experiences with SLKs and Mercedes dealers in the past. We shall see. . .

Hi and thank you ZermatttV,

Been seeking advice on the purchase (AUC at Warrington) - been down to test drive the 2008 3.0si Sport and now understand just how wonderful that straight six is - deal done and a little work and preparation to be completed before collection. Now waiting for a call . . .we shall see
