Parked next to one of these at Tesco today - what can I say it's a while since I've looked at a car and thought - yep properly want one of those . no pictures I'm afraid the link below will have to do

The photos don't give an impression on how good the paint job on this car is .

Oddly the exact same spot on the car park is normally inhabited by a 1M Coupe - lucky hector if its the same owner

im sure it looks good in the flesh but the posted link makes it look like plastidip!

Wished I'd taken photos tbh hadn't realised how rare the colour was only 10 in the UK

Don't normally like them - looked great on this , on a car park with an R8 and a number of 911s this car stood out

It is lovely - my Dad saw one in Dunfermline parked at the big Tescos... Maybe the same one if there are so few. Have to say, I prefer the blue 8)

Wished I'd taken photos :headbang: - trust me this car did not look chavy at all - probably helped by the fact it had a slight natural frosting to it ( -7 deg C) over night last night.

I am sure it looked great Zermatt  I am just a boring old fart who likes cars totally standard as they started & not ones that have been painted in bright colours & tricked up with different wheels & fancy stitching even though its still factory spec :)

Black wheels
I agree  I just can't get on with black wheels on any car tbh, I am clearly very old fashioned or don't commit to my Chav side!

Yep oldfarts!! :poke: :P

Did see a "Matt Black" GTR the other day and was not sure if am honest... I think I would keep trying to polish it!

Paza - you took the words out of my mouth. I would try to get a shine onto a matt car. Just doesnt look right :?

I think matt paints/wraps will be a passing trend, IMO matt black has had its day but matt colours do look cool but once theyve been done to death a nice shiney laquered finish will prevail again  I saw loads of manufacturers at the Geneva motor show this year painting their cars in matt colours even a few in matt brown :o

I am with you paza  I know matt colours are all the rage but yet again my old fart nature kicks in & I just prefer shiny! I think I need to be a little more open minded!

I saw a bright Orange one of these parked at Munich Airport. Sunglasses and a tastectomy required, but it definitely stood out in a crowd! 8)

Gulp just read that the Frozen Red is a wrap - Car comes out of the paint Shop in Individual Japan Red and is then wrapped to give it the matt finish . frozen White and the Frozen blue are true paint finishes.

Hmm I have to say that diminishes my excitement slightly -74k new and the paint Job is a wrap .

Guy on another BMW forum is currently doing an introductory offer of £850 for full wrap in any colour and finish including the frozen colours or a clear matt wrap to give your car a frozen finish. Based in London and would no doubt be a bit cheaper for a Z as the price was based on an e92.
