Front wishbone replacement and bushes - guide price / advice

The original rear bushes from BMW are over £100 each iirc, so these kits are really good quality, cheers CJ10... I'll probably get the same kit you did. I have a feint knocking from the front on really rough roads and I'm sure it's got to be a ball joint.
Maybe I'll do drop-links first and then if that doesn't fix it then TRE and wishbones etc and then it justifies the cost of tracking it all again knowing it's all good :D

I bought those damn Poweflex things and at the back it feels the same, just creaks a lot. The front feels sharper and I'd recommend those for the improved feel in that regard. My only worry is that if they move less the outer ball joint is naturally going to see extra forces which may cause other bits to wear faster any way.

Lets put it this way, when I renew my bits I won't be keeping the powerflex bushes.

Work done, and oh my word, it's such a better car to drive. Can't believe the difference it's made. Feels so much firmer up front, and the wheel wobble has gone. They also got rid of the rattling noise that's plagued my car for two months, loose anti roll bar bolt apparently. Sure I've read about that on here before - common problem?

My car drove better after a good alignment at BMW!

Also check there are no broken springs at the back before going for the alignment. I was surprised that one of mine had gone. I couldn't really tell but another one of those things that once it's done you can tell :D

Went with Lemforder, and yes, had a full alignment. Think the car needed it! And currently both rear springs are intact, but it's only a matter of time...

How do i replace my front wishbone myself on my 2001 BMW E46 325ci
Hmmm, I think you googled to get here. Maybe google or youtube for assistance that is more specific to your car? I've seen many threads on this, and I think it's pretty straightforward.
