Cheers. Would like to see it - especially at the ends.

Here ya go.

You've done a nice job with that tape! Is it difficult to get a nice finish?
Tbh I was lucky as I have use of a ramp in work. Then out some extra self tappers in and done.
And if you clean the shite out of the underside it sticks very well.

How is that secured on, something stronger than sticky tape I'm guessing?
Tape to line up and secure, then self tapper screws. Had on the roadster for over 2 years and it's not fallen off.
It's cheap and easy ti fit, use and replace.

Good advice, what glue did you use?

I just used some Gorilla Glue - but if you can do it I would try the method mentioned above by Z4 Coupster...much more robust.

Thanks Z4 Coupster. Ordered some of the tape and will give it a go. Just hope I can get it on as straight as yours.
offer it up before fitting and cut ends when on car. Then it's easy.

Ordered too... hopefully I won't bodge this!
just take your time get car as hi as possible and make sure all is clean. Once happy peel tape and fix as you go, doing around 2 inches at a time . Perl more tape etc. Then fix with small self tappers and trim ends with a sharp knife.
Job done.

Did you use the self tappers that came with it? If so, where did you put them cos they are silver (odd) and would be really visible.

where the tape part sits under valance. So under the splitter. They will not be visable. And I used some extras.

Mmmm. I have a 2003 and the bumper is different from yours and I can’t tell even on yours where the screws would go and not be seen.

Underneath behind splitter into valance on part that has tape.
Hope this helps best I could do.

Thanks for getting the pictures. The strip that I got seems to be different from yours. See attached. It will have to be face fixed and if I want to use screws they will be visible. Some black paint might be required but I can try and use the tape first.

it's identical bud. The tape bit goes on top...under valence....the rest sits down/out. The small lip goes on bottom and faces in..

it's identical. Tape goes under valance. Then screws go in that. The small lip is "under" see pics of profile

Ah, I see what you did there. I need to fix mine to the face of the valance to hide the scuffs on it rather than to the underside.

Thanks for the advice/pictures though.
