Front valance scuffs

Got a few scuffs on the front valance from speed bumps and kerbs (while parking, not driving) and was thinking of fitting one of these to hide them

Considered it but didn’t in the end. My reasoning was that if the bumpers already getting hit surely adding to the bottom will scuff it / smash it off.

There’s a few cars with them fitted on the forum, hopefully they will be along soon Re quality etc

Personally I think that will last you a week. I have the flexible splitter on both of mine, mainly to hide the scuffs and stop anymore. EBay between £6.00/£10 .

Yep got a splitter on my ///M bumper. You just go from bumper scuffs to splitter scuffs, only you're more likely to get them because you've added that extra half an inch down to the ground. That said, I love my splitter and am after a fresh one to replace the one with battle scars!

Think it would be more economic replacing a splitter than a front valance. How is the splitter secured?

I have same one...great thing about them is if they get a bit battered you can just replace them for a few quid! I also think it nicely extends the Si bumper which for me sits a bit too high even when the car is lowered.

Bang on bud. Saves the bumper and cheap n easy to replace. The one on the roadster was carbon effect and is now toast.

That's the problem with mine !! It's real carbon fiber and full of cracks and scrapes. My first scrape on it I was mortified, I've added many wound since and now when ever I look at my Zed I yearn for a new splitter.... and they're bloody expensive !!

You've done a nice job with that tape! Is it difficult to get a nice finish?

The tape for me wasn't strong enough to hold it so I put a bit of glue on the tape to fix it a little better.
