No. it could be your tyre pressures, wheel alignment, worn suspension, worn bushes, previous accident damage. Check the easy things first. I'm not a motor mechanic, just speaking from experience. Hope it's an easy fix.
Depends on your wheel alignment, but generally on Z4's, the inner edge wears faster than the outer edge. This is most noticeable on the rear tyres. Front tyres, not so much.
Thanks. Pretty sure I am not looking at worn suspension, worn bushes, previous accident damage. So wheel alignment looks plausible.
Wear is 1-4-3mm, 3-5-1mm at front. Rears are much more even wear.
Thanks all. This is on a car I am looking to buy. It is reassuring that this is just wheel alignment, I'll just factor in 2 new tyres and a wheel alignment into the purchase price.
